We came to the Bar-J to celebrate my 11year old birthday. She had asked for a ranch "experience". What we found was indeed a ranch experience, she spent days on horseback, with border collies who herd cows (and kids) and with the nicest wrangler of any organization we have ever visited. We were catered to from the first phone call. The kitchen and ranch staff are friendly and efficient and more concerned with our comfort than the staff at a 5-star resorts! Lodging is rustic, food is simple, so if you want a taste of country life this is Green Acres!
Everyone had a great time at the Ranch last weekend! This is one of the most wonderful places and you don't find people as nice as these every day! Definitely worth the trip!

We just completed our first (but not our last) stay at Bar J Ranch. My kids and I loved it so much we even added an extra day to our trip. I see my children in a different light and we have a new family connection. My time there being apart of y'all's family was priceless.
Thank Bar J Ranch for giving us wonderful time and their staff is great. I love everything they got up there and it's my first time doing horse back riding. Their horses are very friendly and trained. And zip line are fun too, hay ride, and they also have fishing pound. Overall, we had good time with our international student group from Louisiana Tech University. :D We are planing to go back soon. Love you Bar J Ranch.
My son recently had his birthday party here and it was a HUGE hit. Everyone ( adults included) had a good time. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. I would (& have) recommend Bar J to anyone !
Just signed up Anna for Horse camp this summer! She is so excited! This will be her first and I'm sure not last horse camp! Bar J Ranch really is the best kept secret in South Arkansas. We love Ms. Barbara and Mr. Daryl!
We had the most amazing time and think it was the highlight to our USA trip. We hope everyone hasn't forgotten the couple from Oz with the wife who was scared of everything; but still went horse riding, on the zip line, night time bush walking AND shooting! It was the most amazing time, the ranch and surroundings are truly beautiful. I just wish this place wasn't on the other side of the world so we can go back! Hopefully, one day, we will.
Our family had a great time at Bar J Ranch. The ranch has so many wonderful things to offer. Aside from the hayride, zip line, archery and the yummy food, I would have to say that the breath taking views during the horse trail rides were the highlight of our stay...it was exactly what we needed. My kids can't wait to go back in the Fall... The owners and staff take great pride in their ranch and livestock, it's a beautiful getaway and a great place to slow down and take in the peaceful views.
Had a wonderful time would recommend trail ride to anybody. We will be back for more and really thinking of sending kids for summer camp. Thank u for a wonderful time
We can't say enough wonderful things about our weekend at the Bar J! The staff is incredible, the activities were awesome and the ranch is beautiful. I think we had just as much fun as the kiddos! We can't wait to come back and see you all again. Thanks for everything!

My family and I came out to the ranch. Sadly it was only for one day. It was an amazing day!!! The people are so sweet, the ranch is so much fun. I love going to y'alls church(: It was a spectacular experiance. I can't wait until next time I can come! I'm definately coming for Summer Camp next year. Thank you all for such a great time!

This past weekend was GREAT!! The boy scout troop loved every minute of the weekend . The staff was great, they treated all of us like their own family!! We do plan on coming back with the boys as well as our girl scout troop.... soon I hope!! Thanks again for a WONDERFUL and relaxing weekend!!

My kids, my nephews and niece had the best spring break ever. You guys made us feel right at home and we had so much to do between riding the horses and site seeing. The staff is super friendly; we could not thank you enough. Thanks again for such a wonderful busy and relaxing time and we look forward to seeing you again this summer.

The best place for horse lovers! My daughter loves to come here every year (sometimes twice a year). Barbara and Darryl are wonderful people and I am very glad they are part of my daughters life. The entire staff there is WONDERFUL. Thanks for everything!!!
Your place is so fun! I went to yalls horse camp 2 years ago! It was awesome, It taught me alot i dont know what i would have done with out yalls teaching hope to come back next year!
We brought our Church youth down for the weekend. We was touched by what God is doing with and through so may people lives there at the Ranch. We loved every minute of the trip. This trip has changed things in my life and put some things back in place that was once there.
